FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions? We Have Answers.
What are EEE's lead times?
We calculate delivery schedules based on two variables: our current backlog, measured in sections per month against our monthly capacity, and the lead times on long-lead components such as circuit breakers, relays, and controllers. The best approach is to give us the specific date you need equipment delivered — we can confirm whether we're able to execute on that date.
What parts of EEE's manufacturing do you outsource?
We're fully integrated across two machine shops to support our fabrication requirements, with the exception of powder coating and tinning. Our goal is to control as much of our supply chain as possible, so we partner with trusted powder coating and tinning providers in the Denver area for those two steps.
How long does EEE's submittal process take?
We typically issue the first mechanical submittal within four weeks of receiving an order. Our priority is securing the breaker bill of materials, copper, and other long-lead components early and getting enclosures into fabrication. While that's underway, we continue revisions for electrical and controls additions for your review.
How does EEE support commissioning and field service?
Historically, our engineering team has handled all field service work directly. As we grow, we're investing in dedicated field service technicians, and we supplement our team with authorized service partners in select locations.
Does EEE provide medium voltage switchgear?
Not currently — today we specialize exclusively in low voltage equipment.
Where is EEE located?
We operate three facilities between Denver, CO and Loveland, CO, totaling over 118,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
Can customers visit EEE's factories for a tour or factory witness test?
Yes. We host potential and current customers for tours, progress inspections, and factory witness tests by request. Reach out to our sales team to schedule a visit.
What circuit breakers does EEE include in your equipment?
We're breaker agnostic, working with ABB, Eaton, Siemens, and Square D. We evaluate your technical requirements and schedule to recommend the best option for your project.
What information does EEE need to provide a proposal?
A single line diagram and your schedule are the two most important pieces of information for our quoting team to get started. If you don't have a single line diagram yet, you can schedule a call with our team to talk through the challenge you're trying to solve. Reach our quoting team at quoting@eeeusa.com or through our Contact Us page.
What certifications does EEE's equipment carry?
Depending on the product, our equipment is certified to UL891, UL1008, UL508A, UL698A, UL67, or UL489/UL489A, and every product is engineered to meet applicable NEC standards.
Does EEE offer Buy America Act (BAA) or Build America, Buy America (BABA) compliant equipment?
Yes, compliant options are available depending on project requirements. Reach out to our team to confirm compliance details for your specific application.
